Closure Plate

Overview

Closure plates are useful when an exact number of metal decking sheets cannot be fit within a structural bay and used to close the remaining gap between the decking and edge support.

They may also be used to assist in closing similar spaces which remain around junctions with structural elements such as columns. Closure plates must only be used on the non-load-bearing sides of the decking sheets. The maximum width of the closure

plates is 250mm. for gaps between 250mm-600mm a decking sheet would have to be used and cut down to suit on site.
